2012 Apocalypse Wars
2012 marked the first year of the Apocalypse Wars. The event was a major success and we were pleased to see such a great turnout! All of the proceeds from our inaugural event went to help local YYC charities and, thanks to our generous sponsors and volunteers, we were able to raise nearly $6,000 in our first year.
Congratulations Hordes & Hunters! 100% of ticket went to The Jesse Kinley Memorial Fund and Brown Bagging it for Calgary’s Kids in 2012!
2012 Christmas Events
Over the Christmas Holiday in 2012 the Bureau of Apocalypse Wars organized a food and clothing drive for Inn From the Cold. We were able to drop off loads of new and used clothing as well as non-perishable food items to Inn From the Cold helping to make a very merry Holiday for their residents! Thank you to our generous sponsors and volunteers for helping make this event a success!
2013 Apocalypse Wars
2013 was another successful year for the Apocalypse Wars games. We expanded the game to three one-hour play times throughout the day and had food trucks on site for the event! As with previous years, all proceeds from the event went to help local YYC charities and, thanks to our generous sponsors and volunteers, we were able to raise nearly $4,000 for children’s charities in Calgary.
